On 5 and 7 May, the webinar The Nautical Stations Network and the Digital Transformation of the Nautical Portugal Platform took place, dedicated to the digital transformation of the Nautical Portugal Platform. The session was promoted by the Portugal Blue Digital Hub (PBDH) within the scope of the Portuguese Nautical Stations Network. The initiative brought together more than 80 participants and provided a moment for presentation and knowledge sharing on the new generation of the Nautical Portugal platform — an evolution designed to support more intuitive, dynamic and shared management of information related to the Nautical Stations.
Throughout the session, the role of the platform as a digital tool to support the organisation, updating and promotion of the national nautical offer was highlighted. Its digital transformation represents an important step towards strengthening the autonomy of the Nautical Stations, improving the reliability of the information made available and facilitating content management by the entities involved.
With 51 certified Nautical Stations, the Portuguese Nautical Stations Network continues to establish itself as an example of cooperation, quality and sustainability across the territory. The evolution of the Nautical Portugal platform therefore contributes to strengthening the visibility of the network, promoting a more structured offer and supporting the digitalisation of the nautical sector.
This initiative is aligned with PBDH’s mission to promote the digital and environmental transition of the Blue Economy, through the development of digital solutions, the capacity building of sector stakeholders and the reinforcement of collaboration between entities.
