Blue Technological Solution

Windcredible is dedicated to the development of quiet and efficient micro-wind turbines designed to generate renewable energy in urban and industrial environments. These innovative solutions are particularly suitable for complementing solar systems and promoting the decentralisation of energy generation.
The main advantages of this technology include its compact and silent design, which makes it ideal for installation in urban areas. In addition, the use of durable materials guarantees low maintenance requirements. Windcredible's microturbines can produce up to three times more energy per square metre than traditional solar panels, offering a highly efficient solution. They are also safe for wildlife, thanks to the absence of vibrations, and play an essential role in complementing solar systems, reducing energy gaps in periods of low light.

Market Potential

The solution developed by Windcredible responds to the growing global need for decentralised renewable alternatives. The potential market covers around 200 million urban households in Europe, as well as industries and small businesses, with the small-scale turbine sector projected to grow by 10.5 per cent annually.
In terms of technology, Windcredible's turbines stand out for their innovative vertical axis design, which ensures maximum efficiency even in low wind conditions. These turbines are integrated with IoT technology, enabling real-time monitoring and continuous performance optimisation. In addition, the solution has been designed to be scalable and fully compatible with existing renewable energy infrastructures, such as solar panels.

How WindCredible Digitises, Decarbonises and Circularises the Blue Economy

Windcredible's solution plays a crucial role in the digitalisation, decarbonisation and circularisation of the Blue Economy, promoting more sustainable and efficient practices.
As part of digitalisation, integration with IoT technology enables real-time monitoring of energy generation, operational efficiency and predictive maintenance. This significantly increases connectivity and enables intelligent and optimised resource management.
With regard to decarbonisation, the solution reduces dependence on fossil fuels, facilitating the energy transition to renewable sources in urban and industrial contexts. This contribution is essential to achieving global decarbonisation targets and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
In terms of circularisation, the turbines are made from recyclable materials with a low environmental impact. In addition, their modular design facilitates repair and extends the product's life cycle, in line with the principles of the circular economy.

Business Model & Target Markets

Windcredible's business model is based on direct and recurring revenues, with a well-defined distribution strategy. Direct revenues come from the sale of turbines in three versions: Nano, Urban and Farm. At the same time, the company generates recurring revenue through subscriptions to its IoT software, which enables real-time monitoring and maintenance.
Distribution is done in partnership with solar installers and distributors, taking advantage of existing infrastructures in the sector, which facilitates the adoption of the solution.
Initial target markets include Portugal and Spain, with future expansion plans for the Nordic countries and Brazil, taking advantage of the growing potential of these markets for renewable and decentralised solutions.
